According to the latest survey conducted from 2022 to 2024, Pakistan’s literacy rate stands at an encouraging 59.13%, maintaining a stable trajectory. The primary level has played a pivotal role in boosting the overall literacy rate, witnessing a jump from 53% to 57%. Similarly, women’s literacy rates have also seen a positive increase, climbing from 54% to 57%.

Notably, male literacy has shown significant growth over the past three years. To put things into perspective, there were 22,650,000 admissions at the primary level, 2,884,400 at the secondary level, and 194,900 at the college level.

1990:
